Applying for Grants The HRKCAA gives financial support to the HRKC through two primary channels: Ad Hoc Event Grants Over the course of the academic year, the HRKC undertakes a number of events (e.g., the Shoryuhai Intercollegiate Tournament). For these events, the HRKC can apply for ad hoc grants from the HRKCAA. Applications are accepted throughout the academic year, but awards are subject to HRKCAA budgetary constraints. Direct Giving Alumni can, and often do, choose to give donations directly to the HRKC. In the past, some donations have been unrestricted, while others are used towards specific purposes (e.g., equipment, recruitment, etc.), as specified by the giving parties. The HRKCAA does not actively manage this type of giving nor does it actively solicit these donations from Alumni members.
